Our Mission:
Terre Haute Church of
God exists to take the Gospel, without compromise, to the city of
Terre Haute, The state of Indiana, and to the World!
Our
Vision:
1) Realize that church is all about people!
(Every person is precious and valuable
before God, The sinner and the saved. Jesus died for all
and has a purpose for each person.)
2) Create an environment
where everyone can experience the fullness of God's power in operation.
(Liberty in the Spirit, no compromise preaching.)
3) Create
an environment where every member of the family receives ministry.
(From babies to seniors, all need their own ministry.)
4)
Establish ministry that will destroy the religious and traditional
mindsets that have hindered the
church.
(Structure the church in a contemporary setting.)
5) Establish
ministry that will equip the Saints of God, so they can understand
their role in the church.
All Saints
are gifted by God, "For the perfecting of the saints, for the
work of the ministry, for the
edifying
of the Body of Christ." Ephesians 4:11-13
(The church is not complete in fulfilling its God-ordained destiny
when the saints are not active in
fulfilling their own individual calling within the church.)
6) Be
active in taking ministry outside of the walls of our local church.
(This
comes by community awareness, and by sending forth those whom have
a God-ordained
calling to this area
of ministry.)
